Webster Giles Smith is a composer/performer who enjoys writing music for the harp in particular. His compositions have been performed at Music Under Construction and The American Harp Society in New York City. He has recorded a CD of ballet class music on Finisjhung Records.

Mr. Smith performed under the pseudonym, Spider Web in the downtown club scene of the 1980's. He was a member of The Nothing, Marilyn & the Movie Stars, Antonia and the Operators, Cyanide Sweeties, and was the founder of Lux Aeterna.

He holds a Bachelor and Masters Degree of Music from the Manhattan School of Music.
